ASA RACING FOR THE WEEKEND OF MAY 20-22

GRAYS HARBOR RACEWAY (Elma, WA)

Another great night of dirt racing action is scheduled for this Saturday. The Sprints, Modifieds, Midgets and Hornets will be racing.

MERIDIAN SPEEDWAY (Meridian, ID)

Military families won't have to pay a dime to see the best Pro-4 stock car racers in the Intermountain West on Saturday night at ASA-sanctioned Meridian Speedway. Saturday is Military Appreciation Night at the racetrack as it hosts the Project Filter All-Star Challenge for Pro-4 racers who are always at the historic quarter-mile, such as 2010 series champion Ken Chandler of Boise, Idaho, and 2011 series points leader Joe Barton of Nampa, Idaho, to out-of-towners who run the Northwest Pro-4 Alliance such as reigning champion Kurt Madsen of Herriman, Utah, Eddie Secord of Oak Hills, Calif., and Terry Rennick of Brooks, Ore. Northwest Pro-4 Alliance racers hail from Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Utah, California and British Columbia. Saturday's Project Filter 75 serves as the opener for the Northwest Pro-4 Alliance's fifth season. Vintage sprintcars also will run at the Meridian track for the first time this season. The vintage sprintcars will hold an open practice at the speedway from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. The track will be open to the public for this special chance to see machines from years gone by get back on the pavement. Local divisions on the slate for Saturday include the College of Western Idaho Professional Truck Driving Street Stocks and the Tates Rents Hornets. Tickets are $12 for adult general admission, $9.50 for senior citizens and military personnel with ID, $8 for children ages 7-11 and, as always, children 6 and younger get in free. A family pass for two adults and up to four children costs $36.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN RACEWAYS (West Valley City, UT)

It will be a busy night of racing this Saturday night. The Maverik Modifieds will be running a double main event. Plus, Sprints, Super Stocks, Mini Cups and Ford Focus Midgets will also be in action. Gates open at 4:00 pm, qualifying begins at 4:45 pm and racing begins at 6:00 pm. Adult admission is $15.00 and youth admission (5-12) is $5.00.

SKAGIT SPEEDWAY (Burlington, WA)

As race teams run through May, the action heats up at the famed clay oval. Watch the 410 Sprints, Cook Road Shell Sportsman Sprints and the Outlaw Hornets. Also see the NW Wingless Sprint Cars. Ticket gates open at 5:45pm, racing at 7:00pm.

SOUTHERN OREGON SPEEDWAY (Medford, OR)
A full racing program is scheduled for this Saturday night. The Modifieds, Late Models, Street Stocks, Super 4's, Mini Stocks, Thrill Cars and Pro Stocks will be in action. Grandstands open at 4:00pm with Racing at 6:00pm.

YAKIMA SPEEDWAY (Yakima, WA)

Will be back in action on Saturday, June 4. The Super Streets, Pure Stocks, Hornets, Youth Hornets and Bump to Pass will be in action. Time trials at 5:15pm with racing at 6:00pm.
