ASA BRITISH COLUMBIA LATE MODEL TOUR PRESENTED BY ADVANCETESTING.CA ANNOUNCES THEIR 2011 SCHEDULE‏

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (Friday, January 14, 2011) - Officials with the ASA British Columbia Late Model Tour presented by advancetesting.ca have released their 2011 season schedule. The schedule will consist of seven events at six of the toughest asphalt short tracks in British Columbia.

"All the tracks have been great to deal with and we are looking forward to expanding the schedule in 2012," Rob Angus, ASA BCLMT Director of Operations said. "Ross productions, Advancetesting.ca and myself would like to thank all the tracks,racers and sponsors, for their positive feedback and we hope to see you all at the track in 2011."

The season will open Saturday, May 21 at the Motoplex Speedway in Vernon, BC. A 100-lap event will be contested on the first class half-mile tri-oval with grandstand seating for 7,500 fans.

The series will then head to Thunder Mountain Speedway in Williams Lake, BC for a 100-lap race on Saturday, July 2. The 3/8-mile oval will provide some extreme and challenging side by side racing.

Saratoga Speedway, the track known as North & Central Vancouver Island's Premiere Motor Speedway, will host the ASA BCLMT on Saturday, July 16. A 150-lap event will highlight the racing action on their 3/8-mile "D" shaped oval located in Campbell River, BC.

July will end with a double race weekend with two 100-lap Gordie Mannes Memorial races at Penticton Speedway in Penticton, BC on July 30 & 31. A 100-lap feature event will keep the fans on the edge of their seats with the racers vieing for the two-day total points payout.

After a short break the ASA BCLMT competitors will challenge another quarter-mile oval on Saturday, August 20 at Agassiz Speedway in Agassiz, BC. These 100-lap events are always highly contested on this tight and challenging fast oval.

The 2011 season will conclude on Saturday, September 3 at Western Speedway in Victoria, BC with the Historic Canada 200. The racers will once again try to add their name as the winner of one of the most prestigious races in Canada. This legendary race on the flat 4/10-mile oval will crown the first ever 2011 ASA British Columbia Late Model Tour presented by advancetesting.ca Champion!

Officials have also announced that they will soon be unveiling the official series logo and a new website for fans and competitors to follow along this season.
