Latest From Road America; Malsam Qualifies 28th

Qualifying just got over for today's race at Road America. Tayler will begin the Bucyrus 200 in 28th place after posting a qualifying lap of 2:18. 797 seconds. Carl Edwards won the pole after a blazing lap of 2:14.836 seconds. Tayler had some good runs in practice yesterday. Due to the length of the track, Tayler wouldn't complete a full lap, as he would enter the pits just before the start-finish line, so his times in practice aren't the greatest indicator of how his car ran. He only drove two laps in the final session yesterday and said the adjustments the team made during that run led to the car feeling the best it had all week. So the team continued working on getting the car set-up for the race and took more compression out of the front shock.

Tayler has a driver/crew chief meeting at 12:30 PM and the race will begin shortly after 2:30 PM central time on ESPN 2. The total length of the race will be 200.4 miles and will be 50 laps long.
