Paul Brown Shows What the Lucas Oil, K&N, Tiger Racing Boss 302S Can Do at the First World Challenge GTS Races of the Season

Covina, California (4 April 2011) - Tiger Racing’s lead driver, Paul Brown, made his presence known at the opening weekend of the SCCA Pro Racing Pirelli World Challenge Championships at the St. Petersburg Grand Prix. Brown qualified P2 for the first GTS race and brought home an easy, second place finish in the brand new Mustang Boss 302S. Running the fastest lap put him on pole for the second race, which he then led for the most laps.

While Sunday’s race did not end with a podium finish, Brown seemed very comfortable with the car and said, “This new Boss 302S is just a kick to drive and exceeded our expectations right out of the box. My Crew Chief Adam Cox and the rest of the guys on the team did a fantastic job prepping the car and tuning it to my driving style. I think by Sunday it showed, as we ran the fastest race lap of the weekend even after getting hit and having to replace a tire.”

After setting a new, race lap record for GTS, Brown and the rest of the team are geared up and hard at work getting ready for the next event. We look forward to putting on another great show at the Long Beach Grand Prix being held the weekend of 15-17 April 2011.
