Do you love the smell of methanol in the early evening? If so, then join in the fun of the 58th Season Opener at Skagit Speedway. The gates open at 5:00 p.m. with racing starting at 7:00 p.m.

Defending champions Jesse Whitney, Travis Jacobson, Derek Roberts and Freddy Vela are back and leading a huge contingent of Sprint Cars and Outlaw Hornets into action for the 2012 Foothills Toyota Tundra Racing Series. There is a lot of new cars and new drivers and some of your old favorites too. They'll all be here Opening Night. Why not you too?
Track Improvements
A new on track entrance entering the outside of turn three sits at the end of a new push off lane behind the scoreboard. The entire pit area has been expanded and new material has been rolled in to compact the surface into a larger, flatter more uniform parking area. More lighting and speakers. The fuel tanks, tires and parts trucks have a new area and the concessions have been improved. Truck loads of new racing surface have been added over the winter.
USAC Focus Midgets New This Season
Earning season points and crowning a 2012 season champion will be the USAC Focus Midgets. This new division will expand its race dates in 2013 with more cars and drivers expected to commit to a full season on the 3/10th mile clay oval. Follow the growth of this new class along with us this season at Skagit Speedway.
We are very excited to get started with the 2012 race season at Skagit Speedway. Please join us for our 58th season of racing as we carry on the tradition of family fun at the auto races.
