SATURDAY’S PGP 100 IS A FLAT-OUT SPRINT FOR $100 ON PGP’S OVAL TRACK

KENT, Wash. — (March 12, 2012) Have you got what it takes to win an all-out 100-lap sprint in one of PGP’s Birel N35 rental kart on our oval track? If you think so, come out this Saturday, March 17 for the PGP 100 and prove it.

Some races are endurance contests, testing the driver’s skill and ability to maintain focus over a period of time. Other races are designed to reward the driver who can get up to top speed quickest and then hold off the field over the short haul.

Saturday’s PGP 100 combines the best of both as you’ll need to be flat-out for 100 straight laps to earn the winner’s prize of a $100 PGP gift card and universal acclaim as PGP’s fastest oval karter.

But don’t be fooled into thinking it’ll be easy racing on the oval track, just having to turn one direction: one mistake and the rest of the field will go by you so fast you’ll think you’re broken down on the interstate.

The PGP 100 is open to anyone 15 or older and the entry fee is $75 per driver. Pre-registration can be made in person or by phone, and we’ll close entries at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. The race will be run rain or shine.

There will be a practice session beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, followed by timed qualifying. After qualifying the pole winner will draw a random number to determine how many positions the starting field will be inverted.

After the field is set the race will be a straight 100-lap dash to find out who PGP’s fastest oval racer is, with a $100 gift card and bragging rights on the line. Are you fast enough, and good enough to win?
