The ASCS Northwest Intends to Electrify Electric City Speedway

Stacy Verrall, SEATTLE, Wash. (June 6, 2010) - Electric City Speedway is known as the place with "So Much Excitement You Can't Fence It In,” and on June 12 & 13 you’ll witness precisely what than means when the ASCS Northwest rolls into town for two nights of action and thrills with some of the greatest sprint car racers in the northwest.

Current ASCS Northwest points leader Jason Solwold will be ready for battle with an ECS win under his belt, as will defending ASCS Northwest champion, Roger Crockett, who captured a feature win last year on Electric City’s 3/10 mile oval. But the list of talent expected to participate in this event is long and experienced. Many are capable of winning, so be prepared to get comfortable sitting on the edge of your seat.

As Fred Rannard would say, “Batten down the hatches Great Falls, Montana!” This is one party you don’t want to miss.

~ 4:00pm (3pm Pacific Time): Live internet broadcast of The Passing Point, an ASCS Northwest pre-race show hosted by series announcer Fred Rannard. Tune in by going to:

~ 5:00pm: Pit meeting.
~ 6:00pm: Front gate opens.
~ 7:00pm: National Anthem with racing immediately following.
