KENT, Wash. — (May 8, 2011) Are you the kind of person who always wants MORE? More fun, more excitement, more racing? If you are grab up to two of your like-minded friends or come on your own to PGP Motorsports Park this week for the start of Wednesday Warrior Endurance Racing.
Wednesday Warrior Endurance events start at 5:30 p.m. and include one practice session and two competitive racing sessions, one for 30 minutes and one for 90 minutes, in PGP’s Birel rental karts. Kart assignments will be made based on a random draw, with new karts assigned after each segment. Ballast weight will be added to the karts. The field will be inverted based on a random draw.
Pre-registration is a must because these events are limited to the first 20 teams or individuals running in the Ironman class. Registration forms can be found at www.pacificgp.com under the “Racing@PGP>Rental Kart League>Forms/Info/Rules tab.” Teams can consist of one, two or three drivers at a minimum age of 15, with single-person teams getting a special Ironman registration rate. Cost per person is based on number of drivers on the team:
Three-person team driver: $50 member, $60 non-member
Two-person team driver: $75 member, $85 non-member
One-person IronMan: $125 member, $135 non-member
Both the team and Ironman completing the most laps over the total 90 minutes will hoist winner’s trophies at the top of the PGP podium.
