Fan Appreciation Night at Ephrata Raceway Park

EPHRATA, Wash. (July 31, 2010) -- The storms that hit Central Washington Saturday night didn’t keep fans or racers away from Ephrata Raceway Park for Fan Appreciation Night. Winning Main Events were David Macken in the Super Stocks, Dallas White for the Ephrata Pioneer Muffler 2 Pure Stocks, Sean Myers in the Schaeffer Oil Mini Stocks, Tyler Redin won the Kim Janke State Farm Agent Youth Hornets and Chris McCart in the Jerry’s Auto Supply BIG CARS.

Winners for the night in the Kim Janke State Farm Agent Youth Hornets included Tyler Redin with the Main and Trophy Dash wins, and Colton Fisher with the Heat Race win.

For the Schaeffer Oil Mini Stocks Doug Brown set fast time, with Eddie Razey winning the Trophy Dash and Heat Race. Sean Myers won the Main Event.

After all the bashing and crashing was done in the Jerry’s Auto Supply BIG CARS it wound up being a Chris McCart kind of night. McCart swept winning all three BIG CAR events, the Trophy Dash, Heat Race and Main Event.

Dave Macken had a clean sweep in the Super Stock class winning all three events held.

In the Ephrata Pioneer Muffler 2 Pure Stocks it was a White Night as Dallas White set fast time, won his Trophy Dash and Heat Race along with the Main Event. Add in Michael White’s win in the other heat and you see why it was a White Night.

Next Saturday night August 7th is the Rebel Jackson Memorial Race for NSRA Sprint Cars. Over 20 Winged 360 Sprint cars are expected. Also on the schedule is an exhibition from the Big Rig Racing Teams showing what you can see August 14th, the BIG CARS are back with a boat race, and the Kim Janke State Farm Agent Youth Hornets.
