DAYTONA BEACH, FL (Wednesday, July 28, 2010) - We are past the halfway part of Summer which only means that the point battles ASA Member Tracks and Sanctioned Series are heating up. Here is a look at what is happening from July 29 to August 3 in ASA Racing.
ASA SERIES
GRAYS HARBOR RACEWAY
Elma, WA
Two big days of racing this Friday and Saturday night as the track hosts the 11th Annual Shipwreck Beads Modified Nationals. On Friday there will be qualifying, Heat Races, Pete Muller Trucking Race of Champions. On Saturday, the lineup includes trophy dashes, C-Main, B-Main, Last Chance Race and the 40-lap Shipwreck Beads Modified Nationals with $2,500 to win. Over 60 cars have already pre-entered.

MERIDIAN SPEEDWAY
(Meridian, ID)
The Bill Crow Memorial 50 for the Late Model Sportsman will highlight the action this Saturday night. The Sprint Cars, Pro 4's, Legends and Junior Stingers will also be in action. Gates open at 4:00 p.m. with racing at 6:30 p.m.

SKAGIT SPEEDWAY
(Burlington, WA)
This years Bob's Burgers and Brew 360 Nationals presented by Goodyear figures to be hotly contested as drivers from across the US and Canada are all set to battle for the $10,000 winners portion of the record setting prize money. The companion division on both nights will be the Washington State Focus Midget Challenge. Focus Midgets are rapidly growing in numbers in the Northwest and Skagit Speedway's lightning fast 3/10th mile high-banked clay oval is the perfect length to test their skills. Friday general admission is $20; kids under six are free. Saturday admission is $20 for adults. Events start at 7pm both nights.

SOUTHERN OREGON SPEEDWAY

Chadwicks Pub & Sports Bar Night at the Races this Saturday night. The Late Models, Pro Stocks, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks and Thrill Cars are in action. Spectator Gates open at 4:30 p.m. with Time Trials at 5:15 p.m. First race at 7:00 p.m.
